Jared's Swords

As part of our new collaborative project, Rochelle () challenged me to design the sword for her character Jared (AKA: Shadow Wolf, who can be seen here [link] [link] and [link] and finally [link]).

Basically Jared is like a tinkerer, he takes junk and general mechanical type things and modifies them and "makes them better" hehe. He has 2 swords, both are meant to be futuristic but also kinda mechanical and traditional looking. The edges of his blades have a sort of plasma projection over them (hence the power cell style things in some of the pics) to help keep the blades sharp that are made from old pieces of metal. The Scimitar style one is my favourite I think, the idea was based off a propellar blade from a turbine or something so I included a serial number, make and a bar code on it (Y 10 Aero) hehe.

Was good fun designing these, will do more and then come up with a final design soon - Today I can't be bothered as i'm very tired
